Areas of Practice
Anxiety
Feeling distress and constant worrying interferes with everyday life. People with anxiety may feel irritable, and experience bodily symptoms such as heart pounding and sweating. Psychological therapy can help taking back control.
Depression
Depression can occur when an individual has poor resilience. Learning more coping strategies can increase resilience and improve managing emotions better and overall well-being. ACT, EFT, and Mindfulness can be effective therapies.
Burnout
People react to stress differently; anyone may be at risk of burnout. Feelings of fatigue and detachment can lead individuals to avoid situations and/or feel stuck. Working together will improve your stress management and self-care.
Relationship Issues
Struggling in your relationship may foster questions that you ask yourself. Will I ever stop feeling this pain/anger? What do I want? How am I going to function without this person? How can I trust myself again or anyone else? If you have had any of these thoughts recently, emotional recovery is key for emotional growth.
Self-Esteem
Self-criticism is harmful to our own self-image and can evoke stress that can lead to mental health issues. Self-criticism is poor for our psychological, physiological and emotional health. Practicing self-compassion by asking ourselves what we need in the moment can lead to improving self-esteem.
Feelings of Being Overwhelmed
Repeating thoughts in your head about what happened during the day or waking up in the middle of the night because you are overthinking can lead you to feeling overwhelmed. Managing your fears and anxiety will help challenge those negative thoughts.

Grief & Loss
Losing someone can disrupt our hopes and dreams and what we have envisioned for our future. Any type of loss can cause grief. No two people grieve the same. Grief therapy can support you with understanding your journey through loss.

Pregnancy & Postpartum
During pregnancy and postpartum, a woman is experiencing not only hormonal fluctuations but also physiological and psychological changes. Worry and fear about your health or your baby’s health are very common. It is not healthy however, if your feelings and thoughts are impacting your daily activities. CBT, ACT and learning self- compassion can help manage anxiety and mood.
